Henfield CC U14s Sussex Junior Cricket Festival Shield campaign

Monday 5th August Vs. Lindfield - Won by 1 Wicket - Scorecard Tuesday 6th August Vs. Pagham - Won by 3 Wickets - Scorecard Thursday 8th August Vs. Littlehampton, Clapham & Patching - Won by 181 Runs - Scorecard Friday 9th August Vs. Portslade - Won by 36 Runs - Scorecard Sunday 11th August Vs. Lewes Priory - Lost by 6 Wickets - Scorecard Henfield CC U14s played in the SJCF Shield completion finishing runners up to Lewes Priory in the final. They scored 999 runs in five matches and took 44 wickets. The week started off at home vs Lindfield CC. Henfield bowled the opposition out for 154 runs with the wickets shared around albeit Dan Woodward took 4 catches and Will Davies ran two out. Welcome to Henfield CC Colts section Henfield CC Colts caters for players of all abilities from the age of 5 upwards, and both boys and girls are welcome to join the Club. We have organised the Colts section into the following training squads for the 2017 season: All Stars Cricket: aimed at 5-8 year olds (i.e. Years R, 1, 2 and 3), this ECB-sponsored programme is designed to give children an introduction to cricket, with a focus on games, core ball skills and – most importantly – fun. Parents join in too! U9 and 10s (softball): more structured training based around league cricket matches played in a “pairs” format. This squad comprises of children from Years 4 and 5, and girls from Year 6. Both training and matches are played with a softball.
