Welcome to Henfield CC Colts section

Henfield CC Colts caters for players of all abilities from the age of 5 upwards, and both boys and girls are welcome to join the Club. We have organised the Colts section into the following training squads for the 2025 season:

Allstars (Ages 5-8)
U9s (Softball)
U11s (Hardball)
U13s (Hardball)
U15s (Hardball)

Using the ground at Henfield Common as the main base for all activities we are able to offer excellent training and match day facilities for players and parents alike. With a newly refurbished net block, a standalone artificial wicket suitable for younger age group cricket and the ability to offer grass wickets for all other matches we are proud of the facilities on offer.

Our aim is to ensure that the match day experience is as good as it can be for home and away teams and as such we commit to providing refreshments at all matches, open facilities for players and spectators and a welcoming ethos for all.

Henfield Cricket Club’s mission is to provide a first-rate and inclusive cricket opportunity for all its members, players of all abilities and ambitions, and the local community of Henfield. The junior section aims to provide playing opportunities for all and has a clear structured pathway from All Stars through the various age groups to ultimately playing in the senior teams. We have a strong history of junior players progressing to senior cricket.

Girls Cricket (Various ages)

Coaches.
e. colts@henfieldcricketclub.com

No current plans for a girls team in the 2025 season due to insufficient player numbers. However, all our teams are mixed and girls are very welcome to play in their age group. We will look to running a girls team in future years if there are sufficient numbers.
